　Futurebud International Co., Ltd. has received a contract worth 582 million yen for the provision of rice from the Japanese government as part of "Food Assistance Programme (fiscal year 2024), with the aim of improving food security.

　Measures to improve food security in Burkina Faso are urgently needed due to the decline in arable land resulting from the deterioration of security due to attacks by Islamic extremist forces, the rapid increase in internally displaced persons, and the rise in food and grain prices caused by Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

　It is expected that these grants will improve food security in Burkina Faso and promote "food crisis response and sustainable agricultural production support."
