FutureBud International

　Futurebud International Co., Ltd. has been awarded a procurement contract worth 164 million yen to supply Mine Detectors under "Japan's Grant Aid for the Economic and Social Development Programme (Fiscal Year 2021).

　It is estimated that approximately 80 million unexploded ordnances (UXOs) remain buried throughout the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. The presence of these UXOs continues to pose serious threats to public safety and constitutes a major obstacle to the expansion of agricultural land and the development of infrastructure nationwide.

　Through the provision of mine detectors, this project aims to promote the safe and stable clearance of unexploded ordnance in the country and to reduce barriers to development, particularly in impoverished areas, thereby contributing to the economic and social development of the Lao PDR.
