Contract award for “Firefighting Equipment” to Guinea

Futurebud International Co., Ltd. has been awarded a procurement contract worth 376 million yen to supply Firefighting Equipment under "Japan's Grant Aid for the Economic and Social Development Programme (Fiscal Year 2025).

The Republic of Guinea experiences a significant decrease in rainfall during the dry season each year, accompanied by high temperatures and extremely dry conditions. Many buildings, including residential houses, are constructed of wood, and numerous fires occur across the country during the dry season, particularly in densely populated areas, markets, and government office buildings. However, the country's fire service faces a shortage of firefighting equipment, including fire engines, making it difficult to respond rapidly and conduct effective firefighting operations.

Through the provision of firefighting equipment, this project aims to strengthen the country's capacity for disaster risk reduction and emergency response, thereby contributing to its socio-economic development through enhanced social stability.
